Baby Ben
I love sleep smiles
So time flies faster with more kids!!! I cannot believe it has already been an entire month. I guess in the flurry of new baby, the excitement of cooking/baking, and crafting for Christmas time has slipped by at light speed. Benjamin is such a chunk. I prayed for a chunky baby as not only have I never had one but they are soo cute!!! Well God answered my prayer...this boy has rolls!!! It is so cute. He is such a laid back guy. He likes to chill out and watch the chaos around him. He laughs when you play patty cake and is a great snuggler. His older brothers adore him and always want to kiss and hold him.
This week along with finishing up a few Christmas crafts and lots of reading (our homeschool focus this month is reading practice, reading more aloud as a family and quiet reading time) we did our gingerbread construction. We built the coolest, yummiest house. After finishing it we went for a short hike--when we came back it had collapsed from the weight of the candy! That's ok it made it easier to eat...
Now I am a little behind on some great picture and video posts so forgive me if I travel back in time a few weeks.
The weekend of Brian's birthday we went hiking at our favorite place in search of critters. Well needless to say though the frogs were scarce the salamanders were not...
Ean fell in love with the red backed salamanders and wanted to kiss each one and take them home.

A few weeks later we had lots of rain...the boys decided to have fun in the mud...
