Last but NOT Least

We celebrated the Lepage Christmas on Saturday. We started off with our traditional breakfast together of bagels and cream cheese, cranberry bread, cinnamon rolls and a fruit platter. That was followed by present time. AND then more eating- finger rolls, veggie platter, cheese, meatballs--my mom can really put out a spread. In the midst of finishing up lunch Papa heard the train going by...huge excitement in this household for train watching. So the kids threw on boots and coats and Papa followed them outside. They walked to the end of the road and crossed  rt. 202 to stand NEXT to the train as it went by. Watching the train was as exciting as opening presents...not once but 2x the train went by...first one way then the other...so 2x we rushed to the sound of the rumble and the whistle. Later, after the excitement of trains, food and presents I escaped to the icy beauty outside --just me and the nikon (well it was just us for a little bit then I acquired a small following).

Snuggles from Papa

they helped each other out so nicely

Sweet smiles from Jaden

Notice the same glazed look...

Papa says here Gabe time for a wet willy--GROSS

This was Jaden's special gift. He really wanted a train like Ean and Gabe so my dad gave him one. It was my Pepere's train--the one I most remember him running in his train room. It was so appropriate that Jaden--who shares the same middle name Marcel as Pepere should receive it...
